Dan is a transactional, business attorney with over twenty-seven years’ experience in both private practice and in-house counsel. He is adept at managing multi-disciplinary teams and project management and has a demonstrated track record of successfully closing large and complex projects for highly branded companies. Dan has both breadth and depth of corporate experience in the practice areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, employment and labor law, intellectual property, digital rights management, master supply and distribution agreements, and complex litigation management. He also currently serves as “de-facto” General Counsel for multiple private equity portfolio companies. Dan spent ten years as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of House of Blues Entertainment, Inc. (“HOB”), a multi-dimensional entertainment company that operates under the brand name House of Blues. As General Counsel of HOB, he directed all legal aspects of the operation and expansion of the-then second-largest fully integrated music promoter, concert venue developer and amphitheater operator in the live entertainment industry.
